Eyewash

• Medique Medi-First Emergency Eyewash Bottle 4oz — buffered sterile saline solution, pH balanced. OSHA 1910.151(c) compliant. Single-hand squeeze operation for emergency use. Available individually or in packs of 12 for site stocking. Must be placed at every chemical handling station and laboratory area.

OSHA First Aid Requirements

Under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151, employers must ensure that:

• Adequate first aid supplies are readily available at all times
• A trained first aider is available — or emergency medical services are within 3-4 minutes of the worksite
• Eye wash and emergency shower facilities are provided where workers may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials
• First aid supplies are appropriate for the hazards present in the workplace

UK First Aid at Work Requirements

Under the UK Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and HSE guidance:

• Every employer must make adequate first aid provision for employees
• A minimum first aid kit must be available at all times
• A trained first aider or appointed person must be designated
• The number of first aiders required is risk-assessed based on workforce size and hazard level
