Eqweep supplies spill kits, absorbent pads, absorbent socks, and spill response equipment for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, energy operations, and laboratories. CoreTex Products spill response equipment is used by operational teams across the US and UK to contain and clean up chemical, oil, fuel, and general liquid spills quickly and safely.
Our Spill Response Range
Spill Kits
-
CoreTex Universal Spill Kit 19-Gallon — handles oil, water, chemical and solvent spills. Contains 10 absorbent pads, 2 absorbent socks (3-inch x 4-foot), nitrile gloves, safety glasses, disposal bag and tie. 19-gallon total absorption capacity. Supplied in reusable stackable yellow bin. -
CoreTex Heavy-Duty Absorbent Pads — melt-blown polypropylene construction. Absorbs up to 25x its own weight in oil, fuel, coolant and non-aggressive chemicals. Perforated sheets for tearing to size. Low-lint for use near sensitive machinery. Available in boxes of 50 or rolls of 100.
Spill Response by Type
Oil & Fuel Spills
Grey universal absorbent pads and socks absorb oil and fuel effectively on any surface. Universal kits handle oil, water and most non-aggressive chemicals. For oil-only spills, white absorbent pads repel water and absorb oil selectively — contact us for oil-only specification products.
Chemical Spills
Universal spill kits are rated for non-aggressive chemicals including solvents, coolants and cleaning agents. For aggressive chemicals (acids, alkalis, oxidisers), hazchem-specific spill kits with appropriate PPE are required — contact us for specification.
General Liquid Spills
Universal grey pads and socks are effective on water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and general workshop liquids. The standard choice for manufacturing and warehouse environments.
Legal Requirements
Under UK Environmental Protection Act 1990, Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations 2001, and US EPA SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure) rules:
- Facilities storing or handling oil above threshold quantities must have a spill prevention plan
- Spill response equipment must be available and accessible at all storage and handling locations
- Workers must be trained in spill response procedures
- Spills must be reported to the relevant environmental authority if they reach controlled waters
Spill Station Setup
For effective spill response, position a spill kit at every:
- Chemical storage and dispensing area
- Fuel and oil storage location
- Machinery with hydraulic or coolant systems
- Vehicle maintenance bay
- Loading and unloading dock
Bulk Supply
Spill response equipment available in bulk for facility fit-outs and annual restocking programmes. Trade accounts with volume pricing for manufacturing, energy and logistics operations.
